Our bespoke rings are made to order within 6 weeks.
We begin the process by creating a custom Computer-Aided Design (CAD) of your piece. This contains your chosen diamond's exact measurements, to ensure a seamless fit within the setting. We print the CAD using 3D printing technology, creating a wax model of your ring.
The wax model is placed in a flask filled with a plaster-like material called investment. It is then vacuum treated to ensure no air pockets compromise the integrity of the cast, and baked at 1000 degrees. This is called the “lost wax process”, resulting in the wax melting and leaving a hollow impression of your ring. Your chosen molten metal is then poured into the mould, and once cooled, we have a metal cast of your ring.
Your Ring’s shape is refined and polished to bring it to a shiny mirror finish. Once completed, the claws are attached and the setting is soldered onto the band.
Arguably the most important part of the entire process. Your centre stone (and other accent stones if applicable) must be securely fastened to the ring to ensure it remains in place for a lifetime. Once secured in place, the claws are bent over the top of the stone, and a file is used to shape them into the desired look.
Lastly, a rigorous quality control process takes place to ensure every step was completed to the highest standards, before your ring is placed in our stunning packaging, leaving our hands on its way to foreverly be worn by you.
